Long before Scotch became Scotland’s gift to the world, there was Lindores Abbey. In 1494, the first written record of whisky production was made here in Fife, making it the spiritual home of Scotch.

Fast forward over 500 years, and Lindores Abbey Distillery has brought that story back to life. Opening in 2017, they blend centuries of heritage with modern whisky-making mastery, creating single malts worthy of their legendary birthplace.

Crafted from locally grown barley and distilled using time-honoured methods, Lindores whiskies carry the character of their historic surroundings.
