This isn’t your everyday island dram, it’s a heavyweight. The Glaschu Spirits Co. Peallach (Tobermory) 10 Year Old is a smoky, sherry-drenched beast that’s been sharpened by time and fire. Born on Mull, raised in ex-bourbon casks, and then finished in a rare PX sherry barrique from cult Spanish producer Ximenez-Spinola, this whisky drips with swagger.

At 10 years old and bottled at full cask strength, it pulls no punches. You get the raw, peated DNA of Tobermory’s Ledaig spirit, wrapped up in layers of syrupy, sticky sweetness that only PX can deliver.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Smoky maple and charred oak with figs, molasses and cherry liqueur sweetness.

• Palate: Big, bold, and rich; think dark chocolate, treacle, sticky toffee pudding, roasted coffee beans and smoked fruitcake. Honeyed peat weaves through every sip.

• Finish: Long, smoky, and indulgent, sweet sherry richness collides with island fire, leaving you with smouldering embers and dried fruit echoes.
