Bold peat meets French finesse in this limited-edition peated single malt from The Glasgow Distillery’s Small Batch Series. Bottled at natural cask strength and matured in a rare French Pineau des Charentes Rouge cask, this is an elegant, smoky dram with rich fruit complexity and savoury depth.

Distilled from malted barley peated to 50ppm and initially matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel, this five-year-old whisky was finished for 22 months in a Très Vieux Pineau des Charentes Rouge barrique. Just 303 bottles were drawn from this single finishing cask, making this a rare and distinctive bottling in the Glasgow 1770 range.

The Pineau Rouge influence brings vibrant fruit, spice, and wine-soaked oak character to the distillery’s richly peated core style. The result is a perfectly balanced dram that is both robust and nuanced.
