This isn’t your typical island whisky. The Ledaig Sinclair Series Rioja Cask Finish is a bold and brilliant fusion of peated coastal character and vibrant Rioja wine cask influence — a tribute to both the rugged Isle of Mull and the rich warmth of Spanish reds.
Crafted at the Tobermory Distillery, this peated single malt takes a walk on the wild side with a final maturation in hand-selected Rioja casks, resulting in a dram that’s smoky, fruity, and full of flavour. Named in honour of founder John Sinclair, this is a whisky that wears its heritage and creativity on its sleeve.
Nose: Sweet, coastal peat with hints of ripe cherries, vanilla bean, red berries, and a gentle wine-soaked oakiness.
Palate: Big, bold and balanced — layers of earthy smoke, dark fruits, warming spice, and a touch of dark chocolate.
Finish: Long and satisfying, with a rich mix of smoke, sea salt, red fruit compote, and a flicker of spice.

Colour - Ruby Red
Nose - Notes of Turkish delight and rose petals balanced with candied fruits and grapes followed by rich leather and a beautiful peppery spice. A hint of chocolate comes through at the back.
Palate - Creamy mouthfeel packed full of almonds, barley and sweet malt with notes of peppery Ledaig, which give way to black raspberries, sweet vanilla and cocoa interspersed with cinnamon spice and hints of freshly cut grass.
Finish - Lingering smoky finish with red fruit and sea spray.
