Storyman Blended Whisky is the result of a remarkable collaboration between James Cosmo, the legendary actor from Game of Thrones and Braveheart, and the Lowland distillery of Annandale. A whisky made for storytelling, camaraderie, and appreciation, Storyman is a versatile blend with balanced fruity, sweet, and smoky notes, designed to be savoured by whisky lovers of all kinds.

A Tale of Heritage & Passion

The Annandale Distillery, originally established in 1836, fell silent for nearly 100 years before its triumphant rebirth in 2014. During the filming of Outlaw King, James Cosmo discovered the distillery and was immediately captivated. Long inspired by Scotland’s whisky tradition, he embarked on a journey to create a whisky that embodied his passion for storytelling and craftsmanship.

Storyman is a blend of Annandale’s two distinct spirits:

• Man O’Words – an unpeated whisky, named in honour of Robert Burns, who grew up nearby.
• Man O’Swords – a peated expression, representing Robert the Bruce, Scotland’s legendary warrior king.

By combining these two styles, Storyman Blended Whisky achieves a masterful balance—gentle smoke, rich fruitiness, and an underlying sweetness, making it a whisky that is both complex and approachable.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Aromas of golden honey, orchard fruits, and soft vanilla, with a wisp of peat smoke.
