About the producer:
Saint-Bris-le-Vineux is a small village in the north-west of Burgundy, located 16 km from Chablis and just eight kilometres from Auxerre.
While Chardonnay dominates white wine production across Burgundy, Saint-Bris stands apart as the region’s only village renowned for producing refined, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc wines. It was here, in 1987, that owner and winemaker Erick Lavallée founded Domaine Grand Roche. In 2021, the family estate was passed to his daughter Caroline and son Clément. Today, the domaine encompasses 14.5 hectares of vineyards across Chablis and Auxerre, along with a small holding in Saint-Bris. The wines are crafted to be clean, precise, and expressive, with Chablis blended from multiple estate parcels to achieve depth, balance, and complexity.
This 2024 vintage is produced using 100% Chardonnay Grapes - a quintessential Chablis, delivering purity and classic minerality, reflecting the region's unique terroir and the producer's commitment to sustainable viticulture.
